Srinagar: UAE-based influencer Khalid Al Ameri’s latest powerful documentary, capturing his recent travel experience in Kashmir, dispels long-standing notions about the region being unsafe for visitors.

Nearly a month after he visited the Valley, Ameri unveiled the 33-minute film titled “Is Kashmir Really That Dangerous? My Honest Experience” on his personal YouTube channel.

The documentary has quickly gone viral, garnering over four and a half lakh views within just two days of its release and drawing overwhelmingly positive responses from viewers across the globe.

In the film, Ameri engages with a cross-section of locals, discussing life in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and exploring how communities are moving forward. Through candid conversations, he presents a nuanced picture of resilience, warmth, and everyday life in Kashmir.

Alongside these interactions, the film showcases the Valley’s breathtaking natural beauty. From serene snow-covered landscapes to picturesque mountain vistas, Ameri immerses himself in a range of activities, including ice bathing and snow biking, offering viewers a vivid glimpse of Kashmir’s tourism potential.

The influencer also highlights Kashmir’s rich culinary heritage, relishing traditional local cuisines and giving a strong thumbs-up to the region’s vibrant food culture.

Concluding the documentary with a heartfelt appeal,” Stay beautiful, Kashmir mashAllah”, Ameri encourages global travelers to experience Kashmir firsthand and form their own perspectives about the Valley.

The response online has been striking. Netizens from different parts of the world have flooded the comments section with appreciation and shared memories of their own visits.

A user, NestandNookbySarika, wrote, “I’m from Chandigarh and thanks for showing our paradise sooo beautifully.”
