Mr Givan, work with us teachers to get your AI policy right
Paul Givan gave himself a pat on the back last week with news of the PISA scores vindicating Michael Gove’s controversial education reforms.
He might want to pay attention to the detail, though, because the data suggests that learners with heavy or regular use of AI were less likely to do well. In the meantime, Mr Givan is shovelling AI down our throats as his answer to our workload pressures. Curriculum planning? Essay marking? Behaviour plans? No problem, we are told. Just use AI.
