Nearly half of Americans anxious about finances amid frustrations with Trump’s handle on economy: Poll

(The Hill) – Nearly half of Americans have anxiety about their finances at the same time as they have frustrations with the economy under President Trump, according to a new poll.

In the CBS News/YouGov poll, 44 percent of respondents said they see their “own personal financial and economic situation” as either “fairly bad” or “very bad,” while 49 percent said they see their personal financial and economic situation as “very good” or “fairly good.” Seven percent of respondents said they were unsure about their personal financial and economic situation.

In the same poll, 57 percent of respondents said they believed Trump’s policies “are making” them “financially worse off.” Fourteen percent said they believed the president’s policies are making them........
