Loomer explains war shift from Ukraine bunker

Far-right influencer Laura Loomer explained her changing views toward Russia’s war in Ukraine in an interview with The Associated Press while in a bunker below her hotel in Kyiv.

Loomer, a close ally of President Trump, told the AP that she believes her reversal on the war has already changed the minds of some MAGA voters loyal to the president.

“Oh, 100 percent,” she told the outlet. “I’ve received messages all day from different people and media and politics and people just who follow me online who said, ‘Wow, I didn’t realize how much we’ve been lied to.’ ‘Wow you really opened my eyes.'”

She slammed how influential podcasters have been able to spread misinformation about the conflict, so much so that these podcasters “have been able to warp people’s minds to the point where people aren’t even capable of analyzing a subject with common sense anymore.”

Loomer called this “a major national security threat,” adding that she thinks the “information war” could be “more destructive than any kinetic war that our country may ever face.” She urged the Trump administration to take Russian propaganda seriously,........
