The federal government is extending a pause on some construction of President Trump’s signature border wall, as well as additional border construction in a national park in Texas’s Big Bend region, according to court documents.

The pause is expected to run though the end of the month.

Federal District Judge Jason Pulliam wrote Wednesday that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) informed him that it would “pause all ground disturbing activity for the Big Bend 2 and 4 Projects until September 30, 2026, to allow for additional public engagement.”
