Ken Griffin: Democrats taking House ‘almost a certainty’

Billionaire investor Ken Griffin on Monday predicted that Democrats will take back the House in November.

“It’s almost a certainty the Democrats will take the House. That’s the nature of almost every midterm election cycle, is the House seats swing in the favor of the opposing party,” Griffin, a supporter of President Trump, told host Sara Eisen on CNBC’s “The Exchange.”

Griffin also noted that the Senate “will be the big battleground” in the midterms, which are roughly six months away.

“The Republicans will almost certainly keep the Senate, but that will be the political battleground in this election cycle,” he added.

Ahead of the midterms, Republicans hold a slim 217-212 edge in the House, while independent Rep. Kevin Kiley (Calif.) caucuses with the GOP. There are five vacancies in the upper chamber, with three of those seats held by Democrats and two held by........
