Hegseth announces new Defense Policy Board after clearing out previous panel 

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday announced the 15 individuals who will make up the new Defense Policy Board, just a little more than a year after the previous panel was cleared out by the Pentagon chief. 

Robert Lighthizer, who was the U.S. Trade Representative during President Trump’s first term, will be the chair of the board, which was established in 1985, and former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) will be the vice chair.
