President Trump pointed to India’s election laws in an effort to bolster support for voter registration reform outlined in the Safeguarding America’s Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act, which is backed by the White House.
“Earlier this month, India’s Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, asked our Administration — ‘How can you have Elections in the U.S. without a valid Photo ID?’” the president wrote in a Monday post on Truth Social.
