It takes a certain type of individual, someone with a total lack of brains but a whole lot of testicular fortitude, to extinguish a lit cigarette by sticking it into one’s mouth.
As a local Cincinnati newscaster, Alexis Martin, was reporting live on President Trump’s visit to the Buckeye State on Wednesday, a bystander walked up behind her and put his cig directly in his mouth.

You gotta be tough as nails to put a lit cigarette in your mouth. Like, a Russian gangster who grew up in a broken home on the outskirts of Moscow type tough.
If I had to guess what it feels like, though, I would reckon it’s like heating up a bowl of ghost pepper hot sauce in the microwave for three minutes and then sticking your tongue in it for 30 seconds. Hot, to put it mildly.
I once accidentally burned my finger while smoking a cigarette. It was the last one I had, and I was in the middle of a golf round that was going rather poorly, so I had to make it last as long as possible. I smoked that dart down to the filter — and then some. The tip of my index finger was singed after the very last drag.
It hurt, but dear lord, I don’t even want to think what that burn would feel like on the tip of my tongue or the roof of my mouth.
Brutal, but at least he’s going viral.
