My View: Cuba's beauty is still visible through the suffering
Last spring, an intriguing invitation dropped into my inbox. A much-admired jazz pianist, Emmett Cohen, his bass player Reuben Rogers, and drummer Joe Farnsworth were offering an extraordinary trip to Cuba the following February. I immediately contacted a friend and fellow fan and we agreed to sign up.
