Welsh Labour has announced its candidate for the upcoming Caerphilly by-election.

Richard Tunnicliffe will stand after being chosen by the Caerphilly constituency Labour party at a meeting on Saturday, September 6.

He enters the race following the death of Hefin David, who served as Member of the Senedd for the area.
