Welsh Liberal Democrats are calling for the extension of Rural Fuel Duty Relief to rural parts of Wales.

The scheme, which offers a fuel rebate for remote areas, currently applies to parts of England and Scotland but excludes all of rural Wales.

Drivers in rural areas are estimated to spend around £800 more a year on fuel than those living in urban communities.........
