5 Tips for Building Resilience in Adolescents and Teens
Adolescence is a critical time of growth, marked by changes on a physical, mental, social, and emotional level. Young people are in a stage of rediscovering their world and exploring their identity. As they navigate their academics, extracurriculars, friendships, and new responsibilities, challenges will inevitably arise. Life is filled with obstacles, stressors, and hardships, but also so many opportunities to learn and grow.
As parents and supporters, our instinct is often to step in and protect our children from falling or failing—to solve their problems for them. Yet, we can’t shield them from every challenge.
