You can find them in so many places: flea markets, farmers’ markets, vendor markets, artist markets, etc.

There are some amazingly talented creators and artists in this little province, and in quantities that are humbling to think about.

They are indelible parts of our charm and a big part of why visitors remember their time here.

My father-in-law, Bill Testu, is also such a person. He’s been wood carving for decades, and he and my wife regularly go to markets around the Island. They love it. Talking to shoppers excited about what he’s created and interacting with other makers. It’s an interesting community full of........
