Fear socialists, admire authoritarians?

Bronx: To Voicer Joan Cocurullo: It seems that right-wing scare tactics (illegal-immigrant caravans moving to the U.S. border through Mexico, trans people taking over American sports) have lost their power to adequately traumatize average Americans into voting Republican, so now we’re being called the most dreaded English word ever coined: “communists.”

Yes, Voicer Cocurullo, evil Democrats like AOC and Bernie Sanders will turn America communist by promoting legislation to help average Americans with health insurance, education, housing and childcare and, heaven help us, use our tax money for research on children’s cancer instead of needless wars and more tax cuts for President Trump and his fellow oligarchs, with billions of dollars flowing into the Trump family bank accounts, like the one in Qatar where the oil money stolen from Venezuela is going.

Let everyone know how you felt when our president and his fellow capitalists like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos met, feted, fawned over and wined and dined the No. 1 communist leader in the world, President Xi Jinping of China, right after our beloved — at least by people like you — draft-dodging, convicted-felon Orange King had members of our proud military get down on their hands and knees to roll out the red carpet for China’s leading communist. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that, Voicer Cocurullo.
