The Norwich couple, aged 85 and 82, who wish to remain anonymous, were issued the parking charge notice by Parkmaven after parking at Morrisons in Catton on July 10.

The notice alleges the car was parked for three hours and 44 minutes from 10.36am to 2.20pm, exceeding the two-hour limit.

However, the drivers say they made two separate visits that day.
