Person dies after being hit by train on Norwich to London line
Emergency services were called to Romford Railway Station on Thursday afternoon.
A person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokeswoman for the British Transport Police has confirmed that the incident "is not thought to be suspicious" and that a file will be prepared for the coroner.
All lines were left blocked following the collision. Passengers experienced severe disruption, including on services to and from Norwich.
Disruption came to an end at about 9pm.
