Antony Little says he is shocked that Central Connect is allowed to increase the price of a weekly bus pass on the 853 route by £9 per week, because it is a commercial service.

It carries students and members of the public to and from Broadland High Academy near Wroxham from Old Catton, Spixworth and Frettenham.

But Mr Little, Conservative County Councillor for Old Catton and principal of the Hewett Academy, says the service is rarely used by locals as it is always packed with schoolchildren.
