New Delhi: Actor Prakash Raj has been making headlines after he claimed that his name has been “deleted” from the Bengaluru’s voter list amid the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll by the Election Commisssion.
In a 95-second video posted by the actor on Instagram, Raj claimed that he was among the 65 lakh voters in the state classified as “permanently shifted” by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Karnataka.

Calling it a “nice joke”, Prakash Raj said he votes in Bengaluru’s Shantinagar Assembly constituency, where he was born, has lived, and completed his education. He added, “I was also an MP candidate of this constituency.”
