New Delhi: Prime Focus, the media and entertainment company behind one of the biggest upcoming Indian films, Ramayana, has reportedly come under the Income Tax Department’s scanner. Searches were conducted at the company’s offices on Wednesday (October 7), weeks before the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer is scheduled to arrive in theatres.

The Income Tax Department conducted raids at Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra’s offices on Wednesday (October 7) morning, according to a report by CNBC-TV18. The searches were conducted at Namit Malhotra’s VFX and post-production company Prime Focus.
