Maharashtra: 19-year-old steals uncle’s gold to buy Mahindra Thar, invites him for vehicles’ puja

The police have taken the accused Samar Popat Chavan, and also Sangram Babaso More, a local goldsmith, into custody in connection with the case. Sharing details, the police said that the incident took place in Kolhapur district.

Mumbai: In a shocking theft case d from Maharashtra’s Kolhapur district, a 19-year-old man allegedly stole gold jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh from his uncle’s house. He then used the money to purchase a new Mahindra Thar. The accused then invited the same uncle to perform a traditional puja for the new SUV.
