Range Rover Sport Electric uses a 118.5kWh battery that can make 550 hp and 850 Nm of torque and has a range of 609 km. JLR claims the battery can go from 10 to 80 per cent in 22 minutes.
New Delhi: Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover Sport Electric and opened bookings for the SUV in India. It marks the first all-electric addition to the Range Rover Sport family and uses a 118.5kWh battery. It shares its platform with the previously unveiled Range Rover Electric. This one, though, has a slightly higher claimed WLTP range of 609km.
Power comes from a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, which Land Rover says delivers performance comparable to the V8-powered Range Rover Sport. Range Rover Electric and this Sport Electric mark the entry of the brand into the EV powertrain.
