First BMW Alpina models will be based upon 7 Series, X7

BMW have confirmed that the first BMW Alpina models after takeover will be based on the 7 Series and X7, with the brand making clear division between Alpina and M lineup.

New Delhi: BMW have revealed their plans for the next phase of the Alpina confirmingn that the first models under their ownership will be based on the BMW 7 Series and BMW X7. The move comes after BMW took over Alpina earlier this year, bringing the long-standing tuning firm in-house following decades of operating independently. 

All upcoming Alpina models will be developed and placed in a closer vicinity to BMW’s overall product........
