Rajnath Singh clears transfer of DRDO missile tech to Indian defence firms

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has cleared the transfer of DRDO-developed conventional missile technologies to Indian defence manufacturers. The move is aimed at increasing domestic production and reducing dependence on imported defence systems.

New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the transfer of technologies developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation for all conventional missile systems to Indian defence companies. The move is aimed at expanding domestic production of missile systems and bringing more private firms into India’s defence manufacturing chain.
