Bhopal: Police have recovered the jewellery which Raja Raghuwanshi and his wife Sonam Raghuwanshi took with them to Meghalaya during their honeymoon. The recovery was made from Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam. The investigations in the murder of Raja Raghuwanshi, allegedly orchestrated by his wife, is being led by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police.

The SIT of Meghalaya Police which has been working on the case in Madhya Pradesh, recovered Sonam’s laptop, pen drive and the couple’s jewellery from the house of the in-laws of property dealer, Silome James. The property dealer had reportedly rented out a flat in Indore to Vishal Singh Chauhan, who helped Sonam kill her husband.

Chauhan moved into the flat after returning from Meghalaya, where he allegedly helped murder Raja. James had been arrested earlier, for allegedly tampering with evidence and hiding incriminating material linked to the case.........
