Maha charity commissioner seeks Tata Trusts response to Srinivasan’s complaint by Oct 12

Venu Srinivasan, who is a trustee of the Tata Trusts and also has been nominated on the board of Tata Sons, wrote to he Maharashtra charity commissioner seeking an investigation into the administration and governance of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust. On September 30, Tata Trusts filed a caveat before the Charity Commissioner.

Kolkata: Amid the ongoing tussle within the Tata Group, the Maharashtra Charity Commissioner written to Tata Trusts asking it to respond by October 12 to the complaint filed by trustee Venu Srinivasan, which alleges governance-related lapses at the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT), reports have stated. This regulatory step follows Srinivasan’s letter dated September 24, where he sought a probe into SDTT’s administration and governance. Srinivasan raised a lot of questions on the appointment of trustees, the decision-making process and the role of Tata Trusts in matters concerning Tata Sons.

Tata Trusts filed caveat
