Ex-Bihar governor D Y Patil cremated with full state honours in Kolhapur city

Kolhapur, Aug 5 (PTI) The last rites of Dnyandeo Yashwant Patil, who had served as the governor of West Bengal, Bihar, and Tripura, were performed with full state honours on Wednesday evening in his home district of Kolhapur in Maharashtra.

The veteran Congress leader, who founded several educational institutions, passed away at the age of 90 in Kolhapur a day earlier.
