This week, the Associated Press (AP) published an article — headlined, Doctors Warn That Israel Is Targeting Lebanon’s Health Care System, as It Did Gaza’s — that paints Israel as bloodthirsty and blames it for having “invoked the devastation it wrought in Gaza.” But who would purposely target a hospital filled with innocent sick civilians, let alone a country’s health-care system? This framing is a serious issue, as AP articles are picked up by media outlets around the world.
