Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is keeping busy on the summer political BBQ circuit, but is his fight with the Liberals or with other conservatives? In this interview, Rob Breakenridge speaks with Toronto Sun political columnist Brian Lilley who takes issue with Poilievre for engaging in intra-party infighting rather than working to build a conservative coalition to take on Mark Carney and the governing Liberals. Lilley points to the sniping between Poilievre’s camp and those allied with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, warning that this rift is ultimately hurting the Conservative cause. In the meantime, Carney continues to enjoy an extended political honeymoon, and is even now poised to expand his majority through upcoming by-elections. Watch the full video directly below.
