A hot cross bun is no longer just a hot cross bun. Yes there are traditional ones out there, but over recent years we've seen supermarket shelves flooded with buns of every flavour.

There are some rather bizarre combinations out there and they don't always sound that appetising.

But Aldi seems to have sparked the interest of shoppers with one of this year's new additions - its Village Bakery Rhubarb and Custard Hot Cross Buns.
