The cocktail sauce is in waiting. Red Lobster is looking to bring back their endless shrimp deal, despite the fact that it nearly bankrupted the company.

The fast casual seafood joint is looking to launch a limited-time version of the all-you-can-eat deal, according to a Bloomberg report. Red Lobster is soon to be flooded with fans who have missed the deal since its discontinuation in 2024.

The company tried to revive a similar notion in September 2025, called “Ultimate SpendLESS Shrimp”, which allowed customers to choose three shrimp dishes for a set price of roughly $16. Now, Red Lobster is looking to bring back its core base.

“Endless Shrimp has long been a guest favorite and one of our most popular promotions,” a company representative said. “We appreciate the enthusiasm and encourage guests to continue sharing their feedback with us.”

The spokesperson added that the chain has “nothing to announce at this time,” but is always paying attention to what customers are asking for.

Despite its recent disappearance from the menu, Endless Shrimp has historically returned as a limited-time, annual promotion, one that consistently drove higher sales and increased foot traffic.

That success unraveled quickly after a 2023 management decision to make Endless Shrimp a year-round offering. In court filings, the restructuring executive who took over as CEO before and during the company’s bankruptcy said the move “harmed” Red Lobster, costing the chain millions of dollars and creating “burdensome supply obligations.”
