US President Donald Trump has one goal on the campaign trail ahead of the 2026 midterms.

“I have big plans, I want to survive,” the president told One American News Network with a laugh on Thursday, in response to a question about campaigning across the country.

“You look at what’s going on, it’s crazy,” Trump said, seemingly referencing surviving two assassination attempts himself, and Charlie Kirk’s recent murder.

Trump added that “the rhetoric that these crazy Democrats are using is very dangerous. They’ve made politics very dangerous.”

It is not clear that either of the people who tried to assassinate Trump were Democrats.
