Jammu and Kashmir is a globally hit entity; there are various good areas that have placed the region ahead of the rest and there are certain challenging issues that have turned this beautiful area a nightmare for the natives. Someone who is given the responsibility of administering the area in the present times needs to be extraordinarily talented without any doubt. There were too many apprehensions; fear, uncertainty, trust deficit and a lot more needed to be negotiated before taking the assignment.

In August 2020, Jammu and Kashmir was settling after a massive constitutional change, a change when fingers were crossed to see the outcome, a change when all the eyes of the world were closely watching the region. Earlier abrogation of Article 370 and 35A happened in 2019 and the erstwhile state was now functioning as Union Territory with Ladakh separated as another Union Territory. It was a massive challenge to administer the Jammu and Kashmir UT in this situation. Honorable Manoj Sinha Ji took over as Lieutenant Governor (LG) at the most sensitive time in recent history of Jammu and Kashmir when the most efficient man was needed to look after the UT. Honorable Manoj Sinha Ji has a vast experience of administration to his credit. He is a three-time Parliament Member and has served as Union Minister of State as well before taking the assignment of LG Jammu and Kashmir UT.
