Great architecture is often discussed in terms of scale, form and spatial experience. But a building’s larger idea is usually made credible through much smaller decisions: how two materials meet, where a line ends, whether a junction feels resolved, or whether an element belongs at all.

That was the central theme of a conversation on M-Connect Season 2, presented by Forbes India and powered by Marmo Solutions, featuring Monica Chawla, Co-founder and Creative Head of Essentia Home; Monika Choudhary, Co-founder and Growth Strategist at Habitat Architects; and Sonali Bhagwati, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Designplus Architecture.

For all three architects, detail isn't a decorative layer added after the design is complete. It is the point at which intent, function and craft come together.
