DHAKA, BANGLADESH — Chronic pain, arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders are increasingly affecting the ability of people to work, remain active and maintain their quality of life. In Bangladesh, concerns surrounding sedentary lifestyles, changing dietary patterns and environmental and food-related factors have added to the broader challenge of managing long-term musculoskeletal health.

Against this backdrop, Dr. Monzur A. Khoda, Bangladesh’s first interventional rheumatologist, is working to expand access to advanced, non-surgical approaches for chronic pain and joint conditions through a combination of interventional medicine, regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and lifestyle-focused care.

His latest initiative, Regenexx Pain Solution Bangladesh, is designed as a specialised pain and joint-care centre in Dhaka, bringing together modern US-developed technologies and specialist clinical expertise with the objective of making advanced non-surgical treatment options more accessible to patients in Bangladesh.

While conventional approaches remain important, advances in image-guided interventions and regenerative medicine are creating additional options for carefully selected patients.

Dr. Khoda’s clinical approach focuses on detailed diagnosis and patient selection before considering interventions such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), autologous biologic preparations and other regenerative approaches.

At Regenexx Pain Solution Bangladesh, these procedures are supported by high-resolution ultrasound guidance, allowing clinicians to precisely identify and target relevant anatomical structures during selected interventions.
