Opinion: The smoking endgame likely involves nicotine

Right now it's easier to buy cigarettes than non-combustible nicotine products that are much less harmful and help many smokers quit

This newspaper’s scoop that the federal government is contemplating changes to rules on the sale of oral nicotine pouches offers hope that Canada’s anti-smoking policy may soon finally turn in the direction of common sense and medical evidence. If so, it will be a welcome change.
