Pupils help turn soaked schoolyard into dry space after rain garden makeover
The upgrades at Woodton Primary School, located just outside Bungay, were carried out through Reclaim the Rain, a flood resilience project.
Persistent rainwater had led to large puddles and flooding at the school's entrance, making sandbags a permanent fixture and limiting use of outdoor areas.
Dawn Thomas, headteacher at the school, said: "The children love our new rain garden; it’s made a real difference to the school.
