Suffolk police said officers will be in attendance at the base on Sunday, October 4, as they have been during previous demonstrations.

The force said its role was to support the lawful right to protest while ensuring the safety of protesters, residents, road users and the wider public.

It added that its response would remain under review and be informed by the latest information and assessments of potential risks to public safety.
