Jim McMillan's yearling - Brandane Savanah - was crowned beef interbreed champion after winning the breed championship on day one of the show.

Jim - whose daughters and grandchildren were there to share in his victory - said: "I'm over the moon - it's unbelievable."

Brandane Savanah won the supreme interbreed championship at the Hadleigh Show two weeks ago.

Her full sister won the same award at the Suffolk Show back in 2022.

"I'm over the moon - it's unbelievable," said Jim.

Asked if he felt his animal was going to win the top prize he said: "I always think I have got a chance - no point coming if you........
