Cottage which was once part of Garboldisham Manor estate up for sale
Laundry Cottage is an “attractive character home” which is situated in “an enviable setting” on the edge of this “well-regarded village”, says selling agent Bedfords.
The home once formed part of Garboldisham Manor, which dated back to 1873 and was designed by George Gilbert Scott Jr.
Most of the manor was demolished following fire damage in the 1950s. The laundry was converted in the 1960s.
Laundry Cottage, which is Grade II listed, is built of traditional construction with banded gault and red brick, featuring a Dutch gable and a plain tiled roof.
