Former builder's merchants could be demolished for £8m offshore wind hub
Further details have emerged of green energy company Scottish Power Renewables' (SPR) major investment to expand its presence in Lowestoft.
Plans for SPR's new £8 million base in Lowestoft with 100 staff have been submitted to East Suffolk Council and are currently awaiting decision.
Proposals lodged by agents Arup, on behalf of the applicant Mr Chris Price, for SPR, centre around creating a land base for the East Anglia Three offshore wind farm, which is currently being built around 43 miles (69km) off the coast of Suffolk.
