Fears Norwich could become a tent city if action is not taken
Locals say the problem is becoming more visible with homeless camps appearing in a new location as soon as they are moved.
And they fear antisocial behaviour will rise in the areas where they show up.

Tents were spotted the middle of St Stephen's roundabout yesterday morning, while the day before some had appeared in Chapelfield Gardens and last month rough sleepers were seen on a patch of grass in Queens Road near Surrey Street.
Other areas of the city where tents have been spotted include behind St Gregory's Church by St Gregory's Alley, next to Cow Tower, St Stephen’s underpass, Marriott’s Way and outside Tesco’s Express in London Street.
Those who live in Norwich say while they sympathise with people facing homelessness, they are frustrated about the impact it has on the city.

A woman walking through the city who did not want to be named said: “I’m sick of the tents and their behaviour is a problem.
“I do feel sorry for them, but they make it worse with antisocial behaviour.”
Some say the problem is more to do with substance and alcohol issues rather than a lack of places for rough sleepers to go.
