Emergency services called to Norwich city centre

Fire engines from Earlham, Carrow and Sprowston, along with an aerial ladder platform, were seen on Ber Street at around 5.30pm yesterday.

This was alongside several police cars, which locals saw on Ber Street and Surrey Street.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary confirmed officers were attending a concern for safety.

When questioned about this, a spokeswoman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 4.34pm yesterday afternoon to All Saints Green in Norwich to assist the police service with the safety of a member of the public."
