Major high street retailer closing down
Trespass, which specialises in outdoor gear and clothing, has announced that its branch in Lowestoft's Britten Centre will soon shut.
Large signs reading "closing down, everything must go" have appeared in the shop's window.
The news comes after a string of closures in recent years as the chain battles falling footfall.
In 2023, the retailer confirmed six closures after struggling with tough trading conditions and by 2024, the axe had fallen on more branches, including stores in Coventry and Middlesborough.
Last year, at least four stores closed down, including branches in Aylesbury and Ipswich.
The Trespass store in Norwich's Castle Quarter remains open.
An exact closing date for the store in Lowestoft remains unclear.
Trespass has been contacted for comment.
