This follows concerns that birds using the Norway Maple at Magdalen Lawn Cemetery in Gorleston are causing a mess on nearby graves and headstones.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received multiple complaints and is now considering removing the tree.

A council spokesman said: "Following a number of complaints about bird mess on graves and headstones in small area of Magdalen Lawn Cemetery in Gorleston, the council has taken advice about how best to deal with the situation.
