The proposal would see Beach Coach Station car park, on Nelson Road North, replaced with around 94 homes, including a mix of apartments and houses, along with new access roads, open space and landscaping.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has launched an early-stage consultation on the scheme, which would be run by Broadland Housing Association.

It represents the second phase of development on the site, following the construction of 18 affordable homes on the south‑eastern corner in 2023.
