Norfolk school needs ‘further improvement’ after latest Ofsted visit

Southtown Primary School has been told it must accelerate improvements after the education watchdog found that pupils are still not achieving the standards expected by the end of Year 6.

The inspection, carried out on April 28, judged safeguarding, early years, inclusion, leadership and pupils’ personal development to be at the expected standard, but rated achievement, attendance and curriculum and teaching as areas that “need attention”.
