Snack Creations, on Pasteur Road, is permanently closed after its owners said they needed larger premises following more than 50 years in the town.

While operations have shut down, a handful of staff remain on the site, stripping the factory and removing parts.

The factory's towering silos, which once contained semolina and other raw ingredients for pasta and snack production, are a familiar sight in the town.
