Sites put forward for where thousands of new homes could be built in part of Norfolk

Locations for potential new homes and business areas in west Norfolk have been submitted in response to a 'call for sites' by borough council officials, who need to hit government housing and employment land targets, including finding locations for more than 8,000 homes.

The borough council invited landowners, developers and other interested parties to put forward potential sites, so they can consider whether they should be included in a revised local plan - a blueprint which will shape where housing and employment could be acceptable.

The sites put forward include:

More than a thousand homes and an employment area on land at Hardwick Farm at the junction of Constitution Hill and Queen Elizabeth Way, West Winch
