The party has selected Chris Brown, who has been the Lib Dem group leader on South Norfolk Council for seven years, as their pick to try to succeed Sarah Taylor, who resigned from the role earlier this month.

Mr Brown, who represents Ditchingham and Earsham on South Norfolk Council, also runs his own public relations consultancy business - Mancroft Communications.
